Our Story: From Dream to Reality
The Golden Paws story began in 2013 when co-founder Dana Kubiak decided to pursue her passion for working with happy and healthy animals. After spending 4½ years as a veterinary technician, Dana was ready to impact pets’ lives in a more relaxed and enjoyable setting. Her co-founders and parents, Gary and Susan Kubiak, saw the opportunity to fill a gap in quality pet care throughout the Robbinsville, NJ area and were thrilled by the prospect of building a secure, nurturing facility where pets could flourish while their families were away.
This simple concept evolved into a comprehensive vision – to enhance pets’ daily lives through premium lodging, social playtime, behavioral training, and health-focused grooming services.
After three years of meticulous planning and building, our magnificent resort finally opened its doors in the summer of 2016. Those years of careful preparation weren’t just about construction – we spent that time researching the latest technology and design solutions to create our beautiful, state-of-the-art pet resort spanning 12,000 square feet.
